2013 Wabash Ice Bowl Announced!
Steve Chino and the Wabash Disc Golf Club are proud to announce the 2013 Wabash Ice Bowl to support the Lafayette Food Finders Food Bank.
Date: Sunday, January 27th
Time: meet up at 10:00 am, tee off at 10:30 am.
Every year, disc golfers around the country brave the freezing winter temperatures to play disc golf in an effort to raise funds for food banks nationwide. The Wabash Ice Bowl will, as it has for the last three years, be raising money and canned good donations to help our neighbors here in central Indiana who might not have enough to eat. Our goals for this year are our most ambitious yet; we want to raise $600.00 and 200lbs of food!
The event will be one round of white tees on the newly remodeled Murdock Park course. The cost is $10.00 per player plus a minimum of 5 cans of food. This year, 100% of the registration fees will go to the food bank, but we will have awesome trophies for top finishers. Mulligans will be on sale during the round for $1.00 each. Buy as many mulligans as you like, any time you like, We will have a special trophy for the most mulligans purchased by a single player.
Merchandise will be available for pre-order. No prepayment is required, but by asking me to order something, you are agreeing to buy the item from me at the Ice Bowl. I will have a small amount of merchandise available for sale, but the prices will be higher and the sizes/weights/models will be limited!
The first 30 players will recieve a free nested minidisc set!

Ace Race Info and New Leagues Announced
Wabash Disc Golf announces the Discraft One Disc Ace Race!
Registration begins at 10 am, Tee-off is at 11 am.
We will be playing between 35-40 holes, and additional baskets will be used creatively (things like the tower of baskets at last year's event). There will be 2 rounds with a lunch break between them.

WDGC has 2 new leagues to announce!
The new Women Only league will begin on Sept 12 at 5:30. This league will meet on the second Wednesday of every month at Murdock Park.
Also, the Lafayette Youth Disc Golf League is now meeting weekly on Thursdays at Murdock Park. Tee-off is at 6:00 pm. This league is only open to high school age and younger people.
Both of these leagues are friendly to new players, so even if you have never tried the sport but are curious to see what it is about, feel free to stop in and borrow a disc from one of the regulars to try it out!
